I was introduced to this game quite a few years back, and from then on, this has been an integral part of me.. It is a game that can be played with any age-group, and that too with just a pair of dice. Ideal game for having great fun.
The Game...
Pre-Requisites: one white Dice, one coloured dice, sheet of paper, pencil/pen.
No. of players: 3 or more. (Greater the number, greater the fun).
Player 1 | Player 2 | Player 3
Round 1 | |||
Round 2 | |||
Round 3 | |||
...... | |||
Round 10 |
Rules:
1) There are totally 10 rounds in the Game.
2) The sequence in which the players will roll the dice should be fixed initially.
3) In every round the 1st player,
- Rolls the dice and the number that appears, gets added to the score for that particular round.
- If both the dice show up the same number then you are score is doubled (if 3 + 3 = 6 *2 ) and added to the total for that round.
- The player keeps rolling the dice and adds the numbers obtianed to his score.....
- But If a colored 1 shows up on the dice, then your score for that round becomes zero, you lose your chance, and the next player gets the turn to roll the dice.
- Alternatively the player can also quit the roundat any stage, and the score which was accumulated in that round is marked on the sheet. (But the other players should not allow the roller to quit the round, and hope that the roller get a colored 1)
Result:
It is not only a fun game, but also will reveal the characteristics of various people.
Player 1 | Player 2 | Player 3
Round 1 | 25 | 0 | 35 |
Round 2 | 34 | 0 | 0 |
Round 3 | 12 | 0 | 65 |
Round 4 | 0 | 78 | 20 |
Round 5 | 35 | 0 | 0 |
Round 6 | 20 | 65 | 50 |
Round 7 | 30 | 0 | 0 |
Round 8 | 40 | 52 | 15 |
Round 9 | 0 | 0 | 30 |
Round 10 | 35 | 0 | 17* |
Total | 231 | 195 | 232 |
From the above Table we can conclude that
- "Player 1" is not keen on taking risks, he/she is satisfied with smaller outings.
- "Player 2" is a big risk taking fellow, doesn't mind if he blown with zero-es in a few rounds but will keep going on till he his satisfied with his bigger achivement.
- "Player 3" is a mixed-bag. He is kind of a watch,wait and try your luck..
During my initial period of the induction programme, everyone were supposed to present something or the other independently. I had presented this Game to the janta, though it was hilarious to the janta the trainer who happened to be a "phirangi" did not understand a single word what i presented. I used to speak fast, not complete the sentence, dance around etc... After I saw myself in the Video, I made an effort to reduce the dancing and to speak slowly... Also I got into my first Team by explaining this game to my boss and also most importantly mentioning the fact that I did not know "ABCD of Computers..."
