"The One Where Everybody Finds Out"

Writing this post, as i watch this F.R.I.E.N.D.S episode... It's pretty funny, and I am ROTFL! Couple of these episodes are just too good!

Why? Why?

What a forgettable night it was.. Chasing 150 odd runs, the tournament favorites succumbed to pressure, stumbled against short-pitch bowling, and were stumped out of the tournament.. Sometimes, it's not the match loss that hurts, it's the way a team loses that hurts so badly...

The team required 15 from 3 balls, with Yusuf on Strike.. He hits a straight six, and it comes down to 9 from 2 balls..

Yusuf slogs the next ball, but it's all along the ground, and dhoni doesn't take the second run.. which means india needs to get 8 from 1 ball.. Now this is what has irritated many of the fans... If dhoni had taken that extra run, it would have been 7 runs from 1, and if theoritically we are still in the game... His mind had conceded defeat already!

Dhoni might be bombarded with many such questions from media, it might be difficult to answer each and every question... But I hope he remembers that

but it is at every rise, when you fall"

GRREEEEEEEENNNNN!

Nope it's not "Rachel Green", I am currently excited about, but it's the colour "Green", which is so vibrant during the monsoons! Personally, for me the best months of the year have started.. Walks during the rainy days, with earth smelling at her best,(read earth as parks and not roads which is full of garbage and running drains) fresh greens all over..

I am absolutely excited, and hope to make a few trips to the GREEN World. As a tribute to the season, it's all green in my blog, and apologies if it's hard to read through..

As much as I like GREEN now, I hated it the most for a week, when I was having a native Green Leaf called "Keeranalli" to cure Jaundice. It's the bitterest stuff, I had ever eaten. Thanks to this Jaundice, I had a month off from work, watched all IPL matches :), read "My Experiments with Truth By M.K.Gandhi" (I wanted to read this book for some ages now),slept slept and just slept.

I recommend people to read "My Experiments with Truth". It doesn't matter if you believe in his principles or not, one can read it as a novel. First thing is that it is not about "Indian Independence", it's about Mr. M.K.Gandhi's Child hood, and his life in South Africa. I was pretty impressed with a few of his methodoligies.. And what a coincidence that I was reading about his life in South Africa, and watching IPL matches, that were held in SA. :)

Well there is plenty more nonsense to write, so hope fill the pages regularly..

Cheers and Ensoy Maadi!

It happens only with me!!!!

This article, was in my drafts section for a very long time (since 10/17/06), so let me publish it right away...

"It was on a sleepy working late night (a month or two ago), when I received a mail from the Training department on the list of trainings available for the next 2-3 calendar months.. I was fed up with work, and I decided to take a break by attending a 4-day training program. I opted for "advanced shell scripting", and was duly approved my manager the following day..

A month later, I had completely forgotten about the training, and I received a mail from the Training Department, with the Class Id of the Training, location of the training etc.. It was a product release weekend @ office for me, and I was happy that I will away from work the following week...

On the following Monday,I managed to reach the training room just in time, and as I entered the room, i realized it was not a computer ab but a conference room.. Was wondering how would one teach shell scripting in a conference room.. and then there were some pretty old people sitting in the room, and the title "Project Management Professional" was mentioned in the projector slide... I thought I might have entered a wrong training room, but didn't was to interrupt the trainer as he was giving an introductory speech. ( I had already interrupted him once, as I entered that room). During his speech, he had mentioned all our names, (as he done some background work),and only then did i realize some goof up had happened.
Well it was too late, and I didn't want to let everyone know about my mistake, and I decided to happily attend the training. I was the only non-managerial person in that room, and people were inquisitive on how I was attending this training (As it was meant only for managers/Project Leads).. Well, I told them, that I was to be promoted in the next cycle, and my manager felt that I need to get some training on managerial aspects..:) It was a fun-filled training for me, there were some business cases, and some worksheets etc. I used my own wits to solve the business problems, only to later know that they were all PMP'ly wrong solutions. I really wonder if any of the managers I have seen really approach the problem in a PMP way... Whatever, all I know is that I am definitely not the managerial(Applicable only to Software Industry) material...

Looking back, all I can do now is smile/laugh at myself!

There are days...

There are days, when you scream to the world,
Then there are days, when you want to be left alone,

There are days, when you are buzzing with activity,
Then there are days, when you are dead lazy,

There are days, when you want to meet people very badly,
Then there are days, when you avoid them,

There are days, when you want to try something different,
Then there are days, you are happy with the routine stuffs,

There are days, when you want to change the world,
Then there are days, when the world changes you,

There are days, when you feel that relationships are forever,
Then there are days, when you realize that relationships do sink,

There are days, when you want to write something,
Then there are days, when you just want to read something,

As seconds,minutes,hours,days passes by,
as the thoughts changes by,

you realize that, life is just one's perception,
so, do what you want to do!
