It feels good!

Sometimes you feed off others +ve/-ve energy... And this has been the case always with me, especially when it comes to feeding off energy from Sportsmen.. I am mostly engrossed in any sport i watch/play.. I feel great if the person/team whom I want to win, do win it, and feel miserable, if the result was otherwise.
I have been following cricket, since my childhood.. I used to maintain a scorecard, for the matches that were shown in Doordarshan, and the scorecard book(don't remember who gifted me), was my most cherished gift for years to come.. I was a very average player, but just the feeling of getting into the ground is wonderful! I still remember how good i felt going in as the No.10 Batsman (and lasted only 2 deliveries) in my college.
My brother, 3 years younger, is my arch rival, in any sport.. We would play non-stop, and hate losing to each other! That made the contest special and spicy. . And we like teaming up with each other, and defeat others..
I also had a couple of childhood friends, who were sport enthusiasts as I was, and some were extraordinary players, and I wonder why they didn't pursue the game to the next level. I remember myself toiling in the hot sun, to get my friend out, while he batted the whole day.. That's the first time, I enjoyed even while losing(and the beginning of the many such defeats), only raring to defeat him in the next time. We still have sporting duels, and just playing against such people, gives you a sense of satisfaction.
Whatever the time it would be, I can easily pass my time watching any sport or imagining myself playing any sport, and beating the best.
Well, I wonder as you folks wonder, why i wrote this article --> Well that's because I feel good!

You Coward!

If you believe in your cause, If you had the guts, and not scared of your life, go ahimsa way, or do anything apart from killing others.. You have no right to take other's life in your hands...

What is your reason behind this?
----------------------------------
1) Communal? Damn it---> all religion preaches only towards love..
2) Regional? ---> The only possible smallest unique group is just "YOURSELF"
3) was failed by the system? ---> you live only for 60 years, and if you are not materliastic or attention seeking, then every single person is a winner here..

Do you want to create panic amongst everyone? You have not only been successful in creating panic amongst a very few, but also sucessful in gaining all our HATRED!

Favorite Season!!!

things would change in a few months from now... this feeling will not long last... it would/should be good in the future, but don't have too many expectations... every time, every one experiences this cycle, blah blah...

This is what the ruling-party politicians convince themselves before the monsoons... they bank on the monsoons, for the feel-good factor and hope to get away with an election during the monsoons... if it brings rain, it brings joy to the entire nation, and everyone just feels good... if it's a draught, blame it on the global environment conditions...

How good it would be, if there was only the monsoon season... but only thanks to other seasons, we are able to enjoy/cherish the monsoon season...

Some Seasons come once in a year, where as a few only once in a life time!!! So what ever it is, just enjoy the present!!

he and others...

he loved gazing,
other's termed him lazy,

he was mostly thoughtless,
others termed him brainless,

he didn't care about his future,
others thought he would face torture,

he was discovering his life,
others felt it was a waste of time,

others urged him, to change his stance,
he was proud of his resistance...

deep in his heart he knows that,
one day, he too would be one among those millions, who terms other's lazy....

Sixer!!!

Kudos to M.S.Dhoni and his boys for hitting a straight six, Down Under. It was a grueling 4 week one-day series, and they outplayed the Aussies at all departments including the Sledging one. I am so pleased, with the "Little Master" knocks in the final. They were a delight to watch. Hope his critics would keep their mouth shut for a while. Atleast for his fans sake, I hope he continues to play for another 3-4 years and provide us this entertainment.

Kudos to my stomach, for holding up six straight weeks. I have been on a traveling spree over the last consecutive 6 weeks, and I have enjoyed each and every travel to it's fullest. A couple of travelogues would definitely follow :). It's really wonderful to experience the cultural diversities, varied landscapes, extreme weather conditions, people's psyche etc, of our country all in such a short time period. I hope that I do get many such opportunities to travel around.

It all started at Trichy for a Cousin's meet --> to Kemmungundi for a leisure weekend with office colleagues ---> to Raniganj(in WB) to attend Amlan's Marriage ---> visit to Bekel Fort and Kasergod (for JTK's Marriage) ---> visit to Vaishnav Devi Temple, Wagah Border and Chandigarh (to attend Rishi's Marriage) and finally ---> Salem to attend a family function.

Now that my Boss has prohibited me from taking any more leave, for the next few months, I have decided to read a bit on World History. Perhaps it might help me in the future when i get sponsored (world) travels. ;)

Needless to say I am recharged, refreshed mentally, but physically drained of all energy and hope to to get that eluding short 15 hour nap!!!

Andrew Raj!!!

A couple of weeks ago, the whole nation stood behind harbhajan, who was allegedly called a racist by Symonds and Cricket Australia... People were taking it too personally, that how could they ever call an Indian a racist and what not!!!!

And now, just a few days back, there were a few stupid idiots who attacked a couple of North Indians in Mumbai, after a regional party leader made some arbitary statements to woe the voters of the state...

I wonder, what happened to the "National Pride", that was so evident and prominent just a few weeks back!!!

It's a few idiots who over-react, and the media jumps on them, and stump the nation for a few days...

This article by biju, actually explains the whole issue brilliantly!!!

On a related note, read how gandhiji slams the very building blocks of our civilization...

No one lives alone on this planet,
Want to live on this planet?
Then learn to co-exist!!!

air market master time smart .. .. ... ... ...

what started as a luxury, as time went by became a basic necessity, and now made us it's slave.i just cannot tolerate the hulla-gulla that's happening with the stock market.. i don't understand half of the stock jargons, but all i can make out is people want to make quick money from a system, by smart thinking instead of hardwork.. it is not that i prefer hard-worked money to smart money... at the end of the day, money is money, whether it is hard-worked, stolen or smartly obtained..

it's not even the fact that money is obtained at the expense of other's, that bothers me. people want to buy, sell stocks regularly, they want to be in the thick of actions every day. they speak stocks, breathe stocks, and live with stocks. it's become their passion, their hobby, their master!!!

when the stock market fell, my friend was pretty upset, as he said his loss was Rs 5000. i felt sorry for him, and asked him how much did he buy the stock for, he said he bought 100 shares for Rs 90. i checked that the stock was trading at Rs 110, which means he is still having a profit. but he clarified stating, that the stock was earlier at trading at Rs 160, and since it has fallen to rs 110, his profit is reduced by Rs 5000. :)

the joy of appreciating any art, sports, literature is slowly and steadily coming down. people tend to think that couple of fellows play the sport and earn the money, why the hell should we watch it and waste our time. a paradigm shift in their thinking. emphasis is on how to buy the future, instead of how to live the present. One should bother about money, but when their hobby too is also on money...... ..... ....... ......

the fight to grab stuffs has begun, water is now a paid commodity, so is electricity, so is land, so would be the "air" we breathe freely today.. but one in the hurry to amass wealth, to be able to buy the breathing air for the future, has forgotten to breathe presently!!!!

time is also money! so let me make use of the present time by having a short happy nap, after delivering this uncalled gyan article:)

Ho Ho!!!

It's 2:30 AM right now, and I wouldn't get any sleep if I do not blog about the movie i just watched.. And what a relief it is, to speak about something apart from the stock market!!!

Though watching it alone, I was totally engrossed in the movie, and I simply like the character of Kareena Kapoor in this movie.. Absolute non-stop nonsense, an ultimate cartoon, call it whatever, one would definitely fall in love with her character.. (Well atleast I did ;). Shahid Kapur, has definitely shown that he too could act.. ( I still think he was far far better in that Aryan Album Song), and I would give a big thumbs up for the music. I was laughing the entire first half, and perhaps the reason for being pretty energetic at this hour...

What an exciting week to look forward, firstly the India-Aus Adelaide Test Match, and then the final leg of the Australian Open...

Wow! I am simply loving this moment!!!
